Job summary

A leading defense contractor in Bolton is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support assembly and integration for major defense programmes. This role offers a competitive rate of £35 per hour and requires experience with SAP, as well as undergoing SC clearance. Applicants should have formal technical qualification and extensive experience in an engineering discipline. The position involves various responsibilities including updates to manufacturing instructions and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience within an engineering discipline.
• Ability to interpret Design Drawings to produce Manufacturing Build Instructions.
• Experience of Electronic Sub Assembly manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Compile and update Manufacturing Instructions.
• Design, Commissioning and proving of associated tooling.
• Resolve technical problems during the manufacturing process.
