At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
We are seeking Manufacturing Engineers to join our Aerospace Business - where we undertake the manufacture of Metallic Aircraft components using a range of processes such as machining, Fabrication, Sub assembly and assembly of large complex structures.
The new Manufacturing Engineers will possess specific skills in production and planning and configuration control and will provide engineering capability to operational programmes, enabling and delivering zero defect projects utilizing engineering and problem‑solving skills. You will be accountable for delivering robust, capable manufacturing process.
The successful applicants will work a 4.5‑day week, including flexitime in a full‑time permanent capacity, equating to a 35 hour week as part of a small team of Manufacturing Engineers.
