Job summary

McLaren Automotive seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to apply process-improvement techniques to reduce cost and optimise capacity across low-volume, high-value production lines. You will manage PFMEA, support design reviews for new content, and help ramp new models into series production with cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis, and CAD skills, plus a proactive, team-focused approach in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with process improvement in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lead PFMEA activities and change implementation.
• Strong data analysis and ability to build business cases for automation.
• Experience with 2D & 3D CAD environments.
• Knowledge of GD&T and CDM regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Display a positive attitude and drive continuous improvement across production lines.
• Own PFMEA activities and lead engineering change through design reviews.
• Design and deliver production lines and processes for new and existing models.
• Plan tooling, equipment, and automation for various process areas.
• Provide metric updates to leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
