Job summary
E3 Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to commission a brand-new production line and shape its long-term performance within a large PLC manufacturing business. The role covers installation, commissioning, and ongoing process improvements across OEE, reliability, throughput and quality.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience introducing or commissioning manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in manufacturing, process, production, project or commissioning engineering.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Evidence of improving OEE, reliability, quality, throughput or waste.
- Relevant engineering apprenticeship or degree or equivalent background.
- Experience with CAD, tooling, Lean, automation or reliability-centred maintenance is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support installation, commissioning and optimisation of a new production line.
- Improve manufacturing processes, OEE, reliability, throughput, quality and waste.
- Analyse performance data and lead root-cause investigations.
- Deliver CAPEX and improvement projects from specification through to handover.
- Support tooling development, manufacturing trials, NPD and NPI.
- Collaborate with operations, contractors, OEMs and integrators.
- Produce drawings, specifications and operating procedures.
