JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures that Indicon production lines are functioning in an efficient manner. Providing both preventative maintenance and daily maintenance when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university in a technical background (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar)
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with electrical equipment
  • Ability to create written instructions, drawings, and schematics
  • CAD Experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills – able to identify and analyze data and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in computerized systems: Outlook, Word & Excel is required
  • Demonstrated advanced mechanical, technical, and analytical capabilities
  • Manufacturing experience in a custom make to order environment
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be willing to work additional hours when required
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the highest standards in compliance within company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations
  • Independently develop and support efficient manufacturing processes
  • Lead efficiency projects and upgrades
  • Aid in implementing new assembly processes to reduce manufacturing costs for all current produced products
  • Retrieve and analyze trend charts and process data on trained procedures
  • Aid in audit preparation and participation
  • Offer suggestions and follow up on process improvements related to safety, compliance, cost, yield, and productivity
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S related performance teams
  • Practice good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Identify machine errors
  • Assist in R&D prototype and development when required
  • Attend departmental and other scheduled meetings
  • Learn new skills, procedures and processes as assigned by management and continue to develop expertise
  • Proactively maintain a clean and safe work environment, take necessary action to eliminate safety hazards, and communicate to others any observed unsafe behaviors
  • Carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines, including FDA, EPA, and OSHA
