Job summary

Mars Recruitment supports a global manufacturing client in Abingdon seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own processes, documentation and equipment for a low-volume, high-technology line.

You will drive improvements, support NPI, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and PMO to deliver cost reductions while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery. A engineering qualification is required; knowledge of cryogenics or vacuum tech is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Engineering or scientific qualification with relevant electromechanical manufacturing experience.
• Experience in low-volume, high-technology manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of cryogenics, superconducting magnets, or vacuum technology beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing processes, documentation and equipment; drive improvements.
• Lead small project teams and support NPI activities.
• Collaborate across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, NPI and PMO to problem solve.
• Identify risks, deliver cost reduction opportunities and maintain quality standards.
