An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Manufacturing Engineer – (Continuous Improvement) to join our team in our Turbine Blade machining facilities in Derby. There are two Turbine machining facilities in Derby, TBF and PMF, both are high‑volume facilities manufacturing a wide variety of Turbine Blade components.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be working within one of the fastest growing and advanced business units within the Rolls‑Royce supply chain.
The successful candidate will provide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain, validate and continuously improve manufacturing processes and/or methods of manufacture, which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, deliver rate and lead time (SQCD). Furthermore, you will integrate within the wider organisation within the facility and work alongside our suppliers to coach, develop and deliver improvements to methods.
As a Manufacturing Consultant you will join the team in continuously improving the method of manufacture to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time on production parts.
We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
