Your New Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of ceramic, glass, polymer, and composite materials used in LED applications. Located in our Exeter, NH center of excellence, the successful candidate will work with state‑of‑the‑art materials and processes, applying lean continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodologies to sustain and improve product quality and process efficiencies.

  • Sustain and improve product quality across the value stream.
  • Adjust tooling, equipment, and work instructions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize product manufacturing costs.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to establish and sustain control plans.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Participate in product and process development programs to achieve manufacturing standards before release to production.
What We Look For

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, or Industrial) with 3+ years of relevant experience. • A Master’s degree is considered with fewer years of experience.
  • Engineering experience in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Competence in Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Competence in Six‑Sigma methodologies, including DOE.
  • Strong ability to use databases to investigate and optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Good organizational and communication skills, written and verbal.
