Harome, North Yorkshire
Permanent | 37 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Half day Friday
Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys getting onto the shop floor, finding out why a manufacturing problem is happening and taking ownership of putting it right?
We are recruiting for an established engineering and manufacturing business in North Yorkshire, looking to add an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to their team.
This isn't a role for somebody who wants to approach manufacturing problems purely from a theoretical perspective. You'll work closely with Production, Process Engineering and the wider manufacturing team, investigating issues at source, driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions that prevent problems from happening again.
We're particularly interested in Manufacturing Engineers who have worked within a low-volume, bespoke or complex manufacturing environment.
You'll ideally have:
Experience within composites, aerospace or defence manufacturing would be advantageous, but strong transferable experience from another complex manufacturing environment will also be considered.
If you're a Manufacturing Engineer who likes to understand what's actually happening on the shop floor, get to the root of manufacturing problems and take ownership of making things better, we'd be keen to hear from you.
