Job summary

ReeVR Talent is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of technically complex electromechanical products in a hybrid setting in Leicestershire.

You will bridge the gap between design engineering and production, developing repeatable manufacturing processes and supporting the transition from prototype to scalable production, with opportunities to lead and build a production function around you.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, process or NPI engineering.
• Background in low-volume, complex manufacturing.
• Experience introducing products into production.
• Knowledge of DFMA, lean manufacturing and root-cause analysis.
• Experience producing documentation and developing manufacturing tooling.

Responsibilities

• Take products from prototype through to repeatable production.
• Create SOPs, work instructions and build documentation.
• Develop jigs, fixtures, production tooling and quality checks.
• Improve workshop layouts, manufacturing processes and build times.
• Resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Support and train technicians on new processes and tooling.

A fast-growing engineering organisation is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of technically complex electromechanical products.

The successful candidate will bridge the gap between design engineering and production, taking ownership of developing efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes and supporting the transition of products from prototype through to scalable production.
