Manufacturing Engineer | Romsey | £375 per day

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement? This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced manufacturing processes within a dynamic and forward‑thinking environment.

Working on‑site in Romsey, you'll be at the heart of new product development and introduction, supporting cutting‑edge projects that make a real difference. If you thrive on solving complex problems and leading change, this role is for you.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting DFMA, NPD and NPI activities across production and supply chain
  • Leading PFMEA and risk mitigation for product designs and manufacturing processes
  • Driving problem resolution using Lean and Six Sigma tools
  • Identifying and implementing manufacturing, assembly and testing processes for new products
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and process optimisation
As a Manufacturing Engineer, your experience will include:
  • Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement techniques
  • Experience leading change management projects and cross‑functional teams
  • Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical assembly principles
  • Familiarity with MRP systems (IFS advantageous)
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills (8D, RCA, DMAIC) and communication abilities
