Manufacturing Engineer

Our well-established client services the Aerospace, Defence and Marine Sectors. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Production Engineer to join their growing team!

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Generate workshop job packs to AS9100 standard for release onto the shop floor
• Decide and plan optimum manufacturing methods and processes
• Working to customer specifications and quality standards
• Support production with technical issues
• Identifying and organising tooling requirements for new parts
• Working closely with both customers and suppliers

Ideal Candidate:

• Aerospace or other (high precision) manufacturing background
• Experience and understanding of machining and manufacturing processes
• A good understanding of materials and surface treatment processes
• Commercial awareness
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel
• Experience with CAD systems (Catia) beneficial
