Manufacturing Engineer

Near Kidderminster

Up to £45,000 - Dependant on experience

This is a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join an engineering company that is a genuine global market leader in its field. The company itself specialises in developing and producing a wide range of innovative and bespoke components.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will focus on managing engineering projects, reviewing manufacturing processes, identify areas of continuous improvement, applying lean manufacturing techniques and resolving engineering problems.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities;

  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes
  • Reviewing manufacturing processes
  • Applying lean manufacturing techniques
  • Managing engineering projects from initial concept to delivery
  • Assist with building a culture of continuous improvement
  • Responsible for increasing manufacturing productivity
  • Provide technical support to the engineering departments

Manufacturing Engineer Requirements;

  • Previous experience working in either a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or a Process Engineering position
  • Experience in utilising Lean manufacturing tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of engineering systems and the ability to deploy Continuous Improvement Toolset
  • Managing manufacturing projects from initial concept to delivery
  • Knowledge of injection mould processes would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Must be a team player
