The candidate will work in a modern facility focused on precision-engineered components, analysing processes to ensure product quality. Job description

Pay: up to £50,000

Hours: Monday to Thursday – 7:30 am‑4:30 pm and Fridays – 7:30 am‑2 pm

Industry: Machining and Fabrication – precision engineering

Holidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Christmas shut‑down, 7.5% pension and quadruple salary death in service.

Overview

We now require an additional Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will be working in a modern, purpose‑built manufacturing facility that produces precision‑engineered components. The role supports machining, fabrication and various outsourced processes within a first‑class precision engineering environment.

Key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer role

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be in a technical role, analysing processes and projects to ensure the company delivers a first‑class product and service to its customers.

Qualifications and experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of precision engineering processes such as machining/CNC machining and fabrication
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings and specifications and determine the necessary details and processes for each operation required for manufacture
  • Commutable from Alfreton, Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas
