Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd. is recruiting a Manufacturing Controller for a 6-month initial contract in Hertfordshire. The role involves managing stores, stock control, loading manufacturing cells and liaising with production to meet lead times.

Responsibilities include stock control, packing, updating records, kitting and loading/unloading of lorries. Experience in stores or manufacturing control is required, with willingness to work flexible shifts and follow instructions.

Qualifications

World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit aManufacturing Controller subcontractor on an initial 6 month contract in theHertfordshire area

Overview of department:

The Manufacturing Controller role will involve issue, receipt and management of stores and inventory in a stores environment. Loading, control and monitoring of work packages in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control.
• Loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules.
• Packing including the use of hand tools. Receiving and issuing of tooling.

• Kitting activity.
• Loading and unloading of Lorries.

Skillset/experience required:

• Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control.

Desirable skills:
