Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Engineer

Join BD Tissuemed as Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Engineer you will focus on driving operational excellence and supporting manufacturing processes through innovative engineering solutions. It involves improving production efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and plant performance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement programs and site-wide excellence initiatives
  • Apply lean principles and integrate design-for-manufacture practices across operations
  • Conduct investigations, process capability studies, and validation activities for equipment and processes
  • Develop and implement tactical plans for equipment installations, modifications, and enhancements
  • Oversee chemical process characterization, scale-up activities, and associated validations
  • Direct safety and environmental programs to maintain compliance and operational integrity
  • Manage facility maintenance and improvement projects to support business continuity
  • Establish engineering controls and specifications for manufacturing processes and equipment
Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering, preferably chemical or mechanical
  • Experience in manufacturing technical operations, ideally within regulated environments
