Job summary

Fusion People Ltd is recruiting an Industrial Cleaner for a busy manufacturing site in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across toilets, canteens and communal areas.

You will work Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm and potential extra hours in mornings and Friday afternoons. The successful candidate will have prior cleaning experience in an industrial setting, be reliable and punctual, and adhere to

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain toilets, washrooms, locker rooms and welfare facilities to a high standard.
• Sanitise canteen areas, kitchen facilities, tables and work surfaces.
• Keep communal areas tidy and presentable; report issues to the appropriate department.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap and towels.
• Complete cleaning schedules and records as required.
• Follow site health, safety procedures and safe chemical handling.

Role: Industrial Cleaner

Location: Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire,

Rate: £12.85 per hour PAYE

Shifts: Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm, Fridays 7:30am - 12:30pm (with opportunity for extra hours in the mornings and Friday afternoons)

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing site based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within an industrial working environment, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Duties Include:

• Clean and maintain toilets, washrooms, locker rooms and welfare facilities to a high standard.
• Clean and sanitise canteen areas, kitchen facilities, tables, worktops and food preparation areas.
• Ensure communal areas, corridors, entranceways and meeting rooms are kept clean, tidy and presentable.
• Replenish consumables including toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and cleaning products.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and surface sanitisation.
• Report maintenance issues, damage or hygiene concerns to the appropriate department.
• Follow company health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Complete cleaning schedules and records as required.
• Support periodic deep-cleaning activities across welfare and communal facilities.

Skills & Experience

• Previous cleaning experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Understanding of health and safety practices and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks.
