Time Served Toolmaker / Manual Turner - (CNC Turning training for the right person)

Salary £17.00 - £18.00 per hour plus overtime & benefits

About the Company

An established sub contract tooling manufacturer based in the Cheltenham area are looking for a time served Toolmaker/Manual Turner to join their friendly team. The company supply everything from individual components to complete tooling packages to suit the customers individual requirements.

Duties
  • Setting and Operating Manual lathes in order to produce components.
  • Inspecting own work to ensure quality is met (Vernier, calliper, depth gauge, micrometre).
  • Maintaining ISO9001 Quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Toolmaker/Manual Turner for a minimum of 4 years
  • Previous experience Setting and Operating Manual lathes in order to produce components
  • Experience working to tight quality standards
  • Duties would include facing to length, top turning, internal boring and finish turning.
  • Materials are stainless steel, Inconel, Titanium and carbon steels.
Working Hours

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Fridays - Early Finish

37 Hours

Salary £17.00 - £18.00 per hour, dependent on skill level and previous experience
