Job summary

Responsibilities

• Involved in the planning, designing, and execution of manual testing to validate system functionality.
• Ensure reliability and performance through testing.

Skills

Strong experience testing Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications

API testing and using bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)

Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

Ability to analyse requirements, write test cases, and carry out regression testing

Experience working with relational databases and a good understanding of SQL

Manual Tester

Somerset | Permanent | Hybrid Working

Our client are looking to onboard a Manual Software Tester into their team on a permanent basis, you’ll be involved in the planning, designing, and execution of manual testing to validate system functionality, reliability, and performance.

Experience Required

• Strong experience testing Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications
• Experience with API testing and using bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to analyse requirements, write test cases, and carry out regression testing
• Experience working with relational databases and a good understanding of SQL
• ISTQB Foundation Certificate
