Job summary

Flosum in the United Kingdom is seeking a detail‑oriented Manual QA contractor to join our testing team. You will verify new features, run tests, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality before release.

You will design and maintain test cases, test REST APIs with Swagger or Postman, run SQL validations, and help improve test coverage across complex enterprise applications while communicating clearly in English.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Manual QA.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Strong testing lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience creating test documentation from scratch.
• Experience with Jira and TestRail (or similar).
• Familiarity with browser DevTools and REST APIs testing.
• Basic SQL knowledge; DB testing experience.
• Experience with CI/CD products and Git basics.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• English level sufficient for daily communication.
• Experience testing complex enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Test new features and verify bug fixes.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios before development is completed.
• Test REST APIs using Swagger or Postman.
• Verify data using SQL.
• Reproduce reported issues and work with developers to investigate root causes.
• Participate in refinement sessions, and release testing.
• Help improve our testing processes and increase overall test coverage.
