Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for a permanent position in Gloucester. You will operate conventional machines and a horizontal boring machine, ensuring production targets are met with high precision. Work hours are Monday to Thursday 7:45-16:00 and Friday 7:45-15:00 with a 30-minute lunch break.

Competitive salary £35,000–£39,700 per annum, with normal UK benefits. We value experience with toolroom measuring equipment, a pro-active team player attitude, and commitment

Qualifications

• Time served toolmaker or equivalent qualifications i.e., City and Guilds, NVQ level 3, HNC etc.
• Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities to proactively work with and professional people and to interact effectively with individuals and groups both internal and external to the company and at all organizational levels.
• Manual turning or milling experience
• Must be able to work to tight tolerances

Position: Manual Machinist

Type of role: permanent

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7:45-16:00 and Fridays 7:45-15:00 inclusive. You're entitled to a half an hour lunch break between the hours of 12-12:30

Salary: £35,000 to £39,700 per annum
