Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Warehouse Operative in Tamworth. This hands-on role involves unloading containers, sorting stock, wrapping pallets, and preparing goods for dispatch in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will use the client’s WMS which operates in Mandarin; fluency in Mandarin is essential for daily duties. Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:15pm, weekly pay, with potential for temp-to-perm progression.

Qualifications

• Mandarin fluency is essential (spoken and written).
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipping containers.
• Sort and organise stock.
• Wrap pallets for dispatch.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Book stock in/out using the warehouse management system.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Carry out general warehouse duties and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures.

About the Role

Our agency is recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Mandarin-Speaking Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team in Tamworth.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, primarily involving unloading containers, sorting stock, wrapping pallets, and preparing goods for dispatch.

The successful candidate will also be required to use the client’s warehouse management system, which is operated entirely in Mandarin, and communicate in Mandarin as part of their day-to-day duties. Therefore, fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin is essential for this position.

• Booking stock in and out using the warehouse management system
