Job summary

People First Team Japan/ピープルファーストチームジャパン seeks an experienced Mandarinspeaking Operations Manager for Treasury (Banking) to join our hybrid team in the United Kingdom. The role requires fluent Mandarin and English and solid treasury operations experience across settlements, FX, money market, and derivatives.

You will establish processes for treasury administration, handle day-to-day operations, and ensure regulatory reporting under MIFIR/EMIR.

Qualifications

• Mandarin and English fluency in spoken and written form.
• Solid experience in Banking Operations.
• Experience with Money Market, FX, bonds and derivatives.
• Good knowledge of SWIFT messaging.
• Experience with regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for wholesale banking treasury.
• Process and verify treasury transactions and settlements.
• Prepare and review regulatory reporting under MIFIR/EMIR.
• Act as position keeper for operations and submit positions timely.
• Open client accounts and maintain account files.
• Coordinate with banks across currencies for smooth operation.
• Provide operational support to treasury, clearing and trade finance.
