Job summary

First People Recruitment is seeking a Mandarin-speaking IT Junior Engineer for a permanent, entirely office-based role in the banking sector. You will handle IT infrastructure management, asset management, disaster recovery planning, network/storage administration, system monitoring and IT security compliance.

The position reports to the Deputy Head of IT and requires fluent Mandarin and English, with skills in Microsoft Server/Desktop, virtualization and security.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Strong IT infrastructure and server/desktop management experience.
• Experience with virtualization, network and storage administration, and IT security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure, production operations, asset and disaster recovery planning.
• Oversee network and storage administration and vendor/third-party management.
• Coordinate IT projects and provide Tier 2 IT support as needed.
• Draft and maintain IT policies, procedures and security controls.
