Do you possess the skill and knowledge to be the driving force for development within the Water sector? Discover and enhance your talents as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, as a part of our client\'s engineering, construction, and consulting organisation, in a permanent position. The chosen individual will be expected to work on a hybrid basis, from one of our client\'s three sites, all located near London.

Within this position, you will have the opportunity to expand your portfolio with a variety of Water and Water Treatment projects, as an invaluable member of our client\'s Commercial team.

  • Competitive salary ranging from £80,000-£90,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a variety of Water and Water Treatment projects, ranging from £5m-£20m in value, from start to finish.
  • Oversee a team of professional Quantity Surveyors, allowing for strong ongoing performance and progression within the team and the organisation.
  • Take accountability for the project administration, with a focus on payment processes and applications, early warnings through CEMAR, and variations.
  • Direct all forecasting, reporting, and procurement procedures, looking into CVRs, cash flow, and margin development plans.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with clients, and other professionals, ensuring the prevention of all unapproved costs and risks.
  • Host and attend frequent site visits and senior management meetings, allowing for full compliance and alignment with commercial policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, or a similar discipline such as Civil Engineering or Project Management.
  • Working towards, or at, a chartered status of CICES and/or RICS is ideal.
  • Extensive experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor, or a related position, with an understanding of effective team and project management and leadership.
  • Impressive portfolio of previous works within the Utilities, MEICA, and Civil Engineering sectors, with previous IChemE experience
