What youll be doing:

• Taking full commercial responsibility for the project, from procurement to final account

• Managing and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors

• Working closely with project and site teams to ensure cost control, risk management and accurate reporting

• Overseeing subcontractor packages, payments, valuations, and variations

• Driving value engineering opportunities and ensuring cost-effective solutions

• Supporting monthly CVRs and forecasting, reporting directly to the Commercial Director

• Ensuring contractual obligations are met across the project

What we're looking for:

• A proven background as a Senior or Managing QS within the construction sector, ideally on housing-led schemes

• Experience managing large-scale projects and teams

• A strong understanding of JCT contracts and housing association frameworks

• Commercially focused with excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Able to balance site demands with strategic oversight and reporting

• Confident, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a senior leadership team
