Are you an experienced market research leader with a strong commercial focus and expertise in the Technology Sector? Our client, a long-established international research and data consultancy, is looking for a Managing Director to lead the business into its next phase of growth.

This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of a highly regarded specialist agency known for its innovative research solutions, data expertise, and outstanding client service. You’ll drive strategic direction, develop client relationships, and lead a talented, collaborative team, all within a flexible, fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive commercial growth through business development and consultative sales.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across research and data divisions.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships, acting as the senior point of contact for major global technology accounts.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex international research programmes, ensuring excellence and innovation.
  • Lead, support, and inspire a small, dedicated team of permanent and contract staff.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and exceptional client service.
About You
  • 15+ years’ experience in market research, ideally with exposure to the technology sector.
  • Proven track record in business development and client leadership.
  • Broad understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research, with an appreciation for data and analytics.
  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with hands‑on leadership skills.
  • Excellent communicator who builds trust quickly and represents the business with confidence.
  • Comfortable leading remotely and fostering a cohesive, high-performing culture.
  • Additional language skills desirable.
