Are you an experienced commercial and operational leader within FMCG?

Do you have a proven track record in business growth and developing high performing leadership teams?

Are you skilled in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities and partnerships?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a FMCG business on the search for a Managing Director. This is a perm role based in Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy for growth, aligning with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Drive revenue through new business development, customer retention, pricing strategies, and market expansion.
  • Oversee manufacturing and supply chain functions to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost control across production and logistics.
  • Ensure excellence in customer servicing and support, maintaining strong client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams. Foster a strong, inclusive, and purpose-driven culture across all departments.
  • Take ownership of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met across manufacturing, product, and service operations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the FMCG sector, preferably with a background in beverage or food.
  • Demonstrated success in commercial growth, business development, and sales leadership.
  • Strong understanding of complex supply chains, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Track record of building and nurturing a positive company culture and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financially literate with a solid understanding of P&L, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Brand and own label experience.

Salary – up to 160k + car + benefits
