Job description
Managers & Senior Managers - Transaction Services

In the United Kingdom - London

Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in 30 countries. Our sole focus is on unlocking better growth that drives measurable revenue and profit for our clients. We achieve this by optimizing every lever of their commercial strategy – product, price, innovation, marketing, and sales – based on deep insights into what customers want and value. With 37 years of experience in monetization topics of all kinds, we are regarded as the world's leading pricing and growth specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly growing commercial due diligence team in the UK. We recently expanded our focus to address the commercial due diligence requirements of private equity and corporate clients, helping them invest in the right businesses and create value for all stakeholders. Since launching our TSPE team three years ago, the practice has grown rapidly, recording substantial double‑digit growth each year. We have ambitious plans to continue this growth and are looking to hire experienced CDD Managers and Senior Managers to help drive it.

You will work on leading PE and corporate client engagements, collaborating with other Simon Kucher offices worldwide, and you will also have opportunities to support non‑deal engagements such as M&A strategy, market reviews, revenue growth, pricing, marketing efficiency and digital strategy.

How you will create impact
  • Support leading mid‑ and large‑cap PE clients, as well as corporates, to invest in the right businesses
  • Manage workstreams or wider projects, and build the skills and capabilities of those in your team
  • Brainstorm with the team the key deal hypotheses and how to address them as part of the work
  • Carry out market and competitor analysis to provide assurance about market scale, growth, trends, and competitive positioning
  • Design the approach to gaining customer insight, understanding behaviour and perceptions of different companies
  • Present both internally and to the client to support decision‑making
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Work on cross‑border projects with other Simon Kucher offices worldwide
  • Engage in the development of the team and market activities, business development, recruitment, marketing, and early‑stage growth initiatives
Your profile
  • Substantial experience within strategy consulting or in the strategy/M&A function of a corporate, with significant commercial due diligence experience
  • Exceptional project management skills and experience of building high‑performing teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience in market and competitor analysis and company performance assessment
  • A passion for commercial issues and value creation
  • Extremely articulate, able to make complex ideas simple and compelling
  • A strong desire to work in a fast‑paced, commercially agile environment
What we offer
  • Work within a corporate culture defined by entrepreneurial spirit, openness, and integrity
  • Broad learning opportunities through an extensive training curriculum
  • Development support with holistic feedback and development processes
  • Hybrid work model mixing office, client site, and remote work options
  • Comprehensive benefits and a focus on wellbeing
