Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an exceptional Technical Business Analyst Manager with experience in working with clients and internal teams through the Software Development Life Cycle while also being a manager for members of the Business Analyst Team. As a manager you will provide mentorship and feedback to your team members, give input into team assignments, provide input in hiring, and contribute to the BA team processes. As a member of the Business Analyst Team you will be responsible to support client engagements including leading or participating in new client workshops.

Our organization provides software solutions for some of the world’s largest retailers partnering with brands like Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, and Costco to deliver innovative consumer experiences by leveraging a wide range of technologies.

The candidate will be part of a cross‑functional team responsible for planning, developing and releasing software solutions to the market. You’ll develop and nurture key relationships with product, program management, business partners, services, finance, procurement and other supporting groups to ensure the timely release of solutions that will fully satisfy demanding customer expectations.

This position requires previous experience in leading a team and proven knowledge of Agile software development processes as well as an understanding of traditional waterfall methodologies. This position is client‑facing requiring a deep understanding of requirements and business drivers for Toshiba’s products and solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor and provide feedback to assigned members of the Business Analyst team.
  • Manage all personnel aspects including hiring, managing individual performance, compensation, dealing with conflict, career building and coaching; provide input into assigned Business Analysts project assignments.
  • Contribute to defining BA processes and driving continuous improvement.
  • Build and manage client relationships to influence and drive change.
  • Support team members in managing a client’s project backlog and ensuring it is transparent, visible, and clearly communicated with an understanding of what the client needs and why it is needed.
  • Author requirements as needed to support the BA team or project.
  • Deep understanding of Toshiba applications to influence client decisions.
  • Work with the technical team and product management to prioritize the requests.
  • Support the development team during sprint execution in clarifying any business‑related questions for any requirements you author or in support of your team member.
  • Up to 25% travel.
