Job description

Fanatics Commerce is the global leader in licensed sports merchandise, operating a vertically integrated platform that designs, manufactures, and delivers officially licensed apparel, jerseys, headwear, and collectibles for major leagues, teams, and events worldwide. With more than 900 e‑commerce sites and a global omnichannel presence across digital, in‑venue, and retail, Fanatics Commerce reaches fans in over 180 countries and powers official fan experiences for many of the world's most iconic sports properties.

At Fanatics, we bring our BOLD Leadership Principles to life every day - building championship teams, obsessing over fans, acting with entrepreneurial speed, and delivering with a determined and relentless mindset.

As we continue to scale our global platform, the Manager, Talent Development for Fanatics International will play a critical role in driving performance management and talent development across Fanatics International markets.

Role Overview

The Manager, Talent Development – International leads the execution of Fanatics’ global talent development strategy across all international markets, partnering closely with the Global Director, Performance Management and Talent Development, regional HR teams, and international business leaders. This role builds and maintains programs tailored to the specific needs of each market, driving performance management and talent development initiatives that scale globally while flexing to local context. The Manager, Talent Development – International delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI‑enabled insights.

How Will You Drive Impact

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Partner with the Global Director, Performance Management and Talent Development to align international talent strategies with enterprise‑wide standards and business priorities
  • Collaborate with regional HR business partners and international business leaders to translate global talent frameworks into market‑ready programs
  • Coach managers across international markets on performance conversations, calibration, and talent development best practices
People Leadership
  • Operate independently today with no direct reports, while building the program foundation and governance needed to support a team
  • As scope grows, build and lead a small team of talent development coordinators/specialists, establishing clear roles, priorities, and development paths
  • Model BOLD leadership behaviors that set the standard for how talent development work gets done internationally
Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)
  • Treat managers and employees across international markets as the "fans" of talent development programs, designing experiences that are clear, consistent, and easy to use
  • Localize career frameworks, onboarding, mentorship, and career‑pathing programs to reflect cultural, regulatory, and business differences across regions
  • Partner with regional HR teams to ensure performance management cycles — goal‑setting, mid‑year and annual reviews, and calibration — feel relevant and fair in every market
  • Gather feedback from international stakeholders to continuously improve program design and delivery
Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)
  • Design and develop instructional content and curricula for talent and development programs that are engaging, effective, and adaptable across markets
  • Identify creative solutions for scaling enterprise‑wide programs — career frameworks, leadership development, succession planning — without losing local relevance
  • Evaluate HRIS/talent systems configuration and reporting to improve accuracy, usability, and the employee/manager experience
  • Bring an entrepreneurial, test‑and‑learn mindset to new market rollouts and emerging talent development needs
Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)
  • Own program timelines, stakeholder communication, and delivery logistics for international talent initiatives from planning through rollout and measurement
  • Configure, maintain, and report on talent programs within HRIS/talent systems, ensuring accurate data and a smooth experience for employees and managers
  • Track adoption, engagement, and effectiveness of talent programs internationally, and report on progress and recommend improvements
  • Ensure consistent execution and alignment with global standards across all Fanatics International markets, even amid competing regional priorities
AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY

We are building a future‑ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

  • 5‑8 years of experience in talent development, HR, or organizational development, including experience leading programs or projects (not necessarily people)
  • Demonstrated experience designing instructional/learning content (instructional design background or equivalent)
  • Strong program management skills, with the ability to independently own a program from design through execution and measurement
  • Hands‑on experience with HRIS/talent systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday or similar)
  • International or multi‑market experience preferred; comfort working across regions, cultures, and time zones
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence regional HR teams and international business leaders
