Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK seeks a Manager in the Banking team to drive transformation projects for leading financial institutions. You will shape strategy, manage client relationships and coach junior colleagues, while contributing to new business and revenue growth across accounts.

You will work within a flexible, hybrid model, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help develop capabilities within the Invent portfolio, aligning with client challenges of today and tomorrow.

Your Role:

You will be working with the world’s largest and most innovative Financial institutions to help them deliver on the upcoming market infrastructure transformation whether focussed on regulatory, technology or operations. You will have proven your delivery track record across Banking and be driven to build steady relationships across to provide value to our current and new clients. You will be ready for the challenge of helping to build a portfolio for the Invent brand, bringing your network and content credibility to bear. You will typically partner across one or more accounts. You will also be providing some thought leadership in key areas. As a Manager in the Invent Banking team, you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, modelling our values and behaviours, and coaching and developing junior members of the team. Our people are flexible, and the scope of your role will vary with each project, in line with the breadth and depth of your experience. Our consultants are at the heart of delivering profitable outcomes in business and technology-oriented environments, working in a collaborative way with a broad range of clients to achieve their strategic goals.

• Support the management and growth of one or more accounts across the entire Invent offering portfolio.
• Pro-actively open new connections and bring the team with you to maximise impact on client.
• Work with leading companies developing, prioritising and delivering the banking institutions of the future.
• Design and lead streams of work whilst playing a role in Capgemini’s growth through successful delivery, contributing to our offers and knowledge, as well as developing new business.
• Identify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful delivery and adoption of our proposed solutions into the business.
• Bring the right combination of style and substance, ensuring that the basics are right, whilst always focusing on we add value to our clients.
• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement

• Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
• Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
• Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

You’ll also Bring:

• Experience in people management and proven ability to nurture and develop individuals.
• Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in developing, selling and delivering consulting solutions.
• Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
• Experience of proposition building and delivery.
• Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be capable of generating consulting revenues.
