About the firm

One of the longest-standing independent chartered firms in Brighton, with a friendly, partner-led feel and a client base that runs from retail and construction to property, legal and healthcare. Established and well-run, cloud-led on the software side, but small enough that the partners know every client and every member of the team.

The role

You'd take on a substantial and varied portfolio, mainly accounts and tax, as the main point of contact for your clients. There's a healthy mix of compliance and advisory, plenty of client contact, and room to shape how the work gets done rather than just process it. You'll also review work and help bring on the more junior members of the team.

A qualified accountant, ACA or ACCA, who has built their career in practice and knows their way around a mixed portfolio.
