You’ll be joining Central Finance—a collaborative team within the Finance Division that provides expert support across Finance and the wider business. Within this, the Group Capital Planning and Reporting team plays a critical role in calculating and reporting the Group’s Risk Weighted Assets and other regulatory capital metrics.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to lead governance-related activities within the team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance or governance, particularly in oversight and reporting.

Job Description
JOB TITLE: Manager, Risk Weighted Assets Reporting & Analysis, Group Capital Management & Reporting
SALARY: as per pay range
LOCATION: Edinburgh, New Uberior House
ADDITIONAL LOCATIONs: Newport Tredegar Park and Bristol Harbourside
HOURS: Full Time, 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this Opportunity
You’ll be delivering excellent, efficient and insightful monthly and quarterly reporting, while leading on targeted inbound change delivery and other process improvements, by building and maintaining effective relationships across Central Finance the beyond. They’ll also be some line management opportunities!

Day to day responsibilities
These include:-
Supporting the delivery of robust Risk Weighted Asset calculations and associated MI for internal and external stakeholders within agreed timelines.
Supporting change and process improvements in partnership with the wider team.
Line management and colleague development.
Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders including presenting at senior stakeholder meetings, including Director level.
Maintaining and role-modelling a robust control environment.
Pro-actively identifying improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures using current tooling such as Power BI and Python.
Effective engagement with stakeholder teams to understand the wider impact of process changes and ensuring collaborative outcomes.
What you’ll need
A professional finance qualification (or qualified by experience).
Practical understanding of financial systems and processes with the ability to use and manipulate data and present information to inform business decisions.
Regulatory reporting experience, or have balance sheet awareness, system architecture knowledge and customer product understanding with a drive to learn regulatory fundamentals.
The ability to plan, organise, and prioritise your own and others workload and identify and implement flexibility in plans when required.
Drive and show passion for producing quality work at pace.
Good interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, departments, and levels.
The ability to implement change using a confident and collaborative approach.
