International Risk and Controls sits within International Card Services (ICS) which comprises all the issuing functions across all 28 international markets excluding the US - colleagues operate across a variety of geographies and disciplines. ICT issues products to our Consumer and Commercial customers the organization is an integral part of the global growth strategy for American Express; offering differentiated products and services is critical to our success and promises to drive significant growth and value through the delivery of innovative products tailored to the needs of our organization helps our international businesses manage risk respond to new regulation and develop new products while creating and nurturing effective partnerships across multiple key stakeholders across the organisation.

To support this objective the Enterprise Anti Money Laundering (AML) team is delivering on the Know Your Business and Customer (KYB / C) Refresh programme for our Issuing Legal Entity (Small Business Services and Corporate) base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translating business expectations into executable work.
  • Supporting process and procedure design up to and including implementation.
  • Planning monitoring and delivering against project milestones and deliverables.
  • Managing risks and issues that arise from the project.
  • Day-to-day management of internal and external teams engaged to support refresh.
  • Preparing materials for steering committees and other senior leadership updates.

This UK based role is an exciting development opportunity for a project manager with knowledge of the issuing business to join our team!

Minimum Qualifications
  • Driving of results against fluid and aggressive timelines.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environment

  • Prior experience with AML / KYC or other regulatory environment is preferred.
