About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, analytical, and creative problem solver to join our Commercial Strategy & Planning team. We help Cirium grow because our Analytics efforts drive data-led decisions, while our Pricing capabilities help transform how we operate.

You will provide direction and support to our Commercial teams (Sales, Product, Strategy, and Marketing). You will be the authority on pricing covering our five product families, three sales regions, and fifteen industry sectors.

As well as leading Operational and Strategic Pricing, you will be involved in special projects, e.g., leading research informing new product business models or re-shaping how we go to market with existing products. You will operate across functional lines with individual contributors up to the c-suite.

Responsibilities

Operational Pricing (30-40% of the time)

  • Chair our “Deal Desk” where a cross-functional group discusses and plans for our most complex opportunities.
  • Continuously improve Cirium’s pricing tools and guidance for less complex opportunities.
  • Coordinate analysis and decision-making in support of complex, high-value opportunities.

Strategic Pricing (20-30% of the time):

  • Lead primary-research-based pricing reviews for our diverse product portfolio, ensuring our pricing maximizes value for Cirium and customers.

Commercial Strategy projects (20-30% of the time):

  • Collaborate with leadership on research to inform future direction and resource allocation.
  • Lead growth initiatives based on opportunities identified or leadership guidance, requiring strategic thinking to align resources.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – Cirium values diversity, great people, and matrix working. Relationship building, high EQ, and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in pricing/strategy roles, ideally within B2B organizations or consulting, involving complex analytics and research techniques.
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Maths, Operational Research).
  • Drive to see things through — ideas will be implemented, and trust will be placed in you to move the business forward. Ability to see the big picture and operational details is necessary.
  • Enthusiastic about Aviation; industry experience is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with a talent for storytelling and simplifying complex information.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Salesforce CRM, Gong, Eloqua Campaigns.
  • Strong data skills, including SQL and Python, and Power BI (learning on the job is acceptable).
