Job summary

Garner Health in the United Kingdom is seeking an engineering leader to lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and hiring.

You will partner with internal business units to ship AI-native features end-to-end, own core services, and ensure secure, reliable experiences in a fast-moving environment. You’ll balance quality with delivery speed and set technical direction across AI adoption and foundational improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
• 2+ years managing engineering teams.
• Experience building web apps and APIs on cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar).

• Partner closely with internal business units to identify high-leverage opportunities and ship features end-to-end that deliver measurable employee productivity gains
• Drive the delivery of AI-native solutions
• Own core services and ensure secure, high-quality, and reliable experiences in a fast-moving environment
• Balance quality with delivery speed, identify bottlenecks, and clearly communicate tradeoffs across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• Set technical direction across the team's roadmap and its three bets: AI adoption, employee efficiency, and foundational improvements
