As we build a more digitally focused, data-driven marketing function, we're investing in people who can own strategy and execution across paid search, SEO and social media – working closely with best-in-class agencies. Here, you'll have the autonomy to innovate, the data to make decisions, and the platform to make a visible impact. If you're driven by results, thrive in collaborative environments and want to shape the future of legendary brands, this is your chance. The Senior Manager of Analytics is a strategic leadership role responsible for the development and execution of advanced analytics to power smarter decisions across Micheldever Group’s retail, wholesale and tyre brands. You will drive campaign effectiveness, customer retention and operational efficiency through AI-driven insights, predictive modelling and robust reporting. The job holder works closely with the Group Marketing Director, partnering with Brand Strategy, Channel Marketing and Digital teams, while leading a growing analytics function that includes a Senior Analyst. You will commission research, benchmark competitors and ensure data quality and compliance. You are accountable for an annual Analytics Plan, the delivery of actionable insights against KPIs, data governance and the enablement of data-driven decision-making across the Group.

Responsibilities
  • Set the Analytics Strategy and Plan
  • Build a costed, resourced, timelined annual plan aligned to marketing and commercial priorities.
  • Review quarterly to incorporate new trends and business needs.
  • Deliver Insights and Performance Reporting
  • Analyse customer, product and market data to drive a measurable uplift in conversion and CSS.
  • Own dashboards for ROI, CLV, retention and operational KPIs; report monthly to the Leadership Team.
  • Lead Predictive Modelling and AI
  • Implement models for propensity, churn and campaign optimisation using modern data stacks.
  • Pilot and scale initiatives that increase targeting precision and efficiency.
  • Commission Research and Benchmarking
  • Run surveys and focus groups; evaluate industry and competitor data to inform positioning and channel strategy.
  • Ensure Data Governance and Compliance
  • Oversee data quality, security and GDPR compliance in partnership with Digital Operations.
  • Partner Across Marketing and Digital
  • Provide audience segmentation, testing frameworks and recommendations to SEO, Social, Campaign and E-Commerce teams.
  • Lead and Develop the Team
  • Mentor the Senior Analyst, set stretching goals and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Senior analytics leadership with proven impact on campaign ROI, retention and customer experience.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Track record of building scalable data processes and ensuring GDPR-compliant practices.
  • Passion for experimentation, continuous improvement and enabling data-driven decisions.
