As part of Team Amex, you'll experience this powerful backing with comprehensive support for your holistic well-being and many opportunities to learn new skills, develop as a leader, and grow your career.

Here, your voice and ideas matter, your work makes an impact, and together, you will help us define the future of American Express.

Are you ready for your next big challenge in Product Management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work has a direct impact on millions of customers? Are you curious, driven, and motivated by solving complex problems with innovative solutions? If yes, we’d love to hear from you.

Within this space, our Financial Crimes Product & Capabilities team ensures we stay ahead of regulatory requirements while continuing to back our customers and their businesses. We’re currently driving a major transformation for our customers – delivering our KYC and KYB roadmap across International, rolling out our award-winning iRefresh product into digital and servicing channels and developing an eRefresh journey for commercial clients, as well as uplifting our customer data platforms. We are also looking ahead; we’re preparing to expand even further to meet new EU AML regulations coming into effect in 2027.

How will you make an impact in this role?
  • Align requirements for experiences and impacted processes with market stakeholders, understanding their current and future needs and in alignment to regulatory requirements & commitments. Partner with Financial Crime EU KYC Standard colleagues to prepare for upcoming regulatory change.
  • Help shape and advocate for the product vision, strategy and roadmap in partnership with product owners, platform, engineering and business teams.
  • Demonstrate a product mindset, owning the full product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery.
  • Translate complex business objectives into capabilities and features, working closely with enterprise platform and engineering teams.
  • Communicate and build consensus across multiple teams, across the globe, in creating solutions to business needs including leading in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Full participation with PI planning and program ceremonies in support of Agile and SAFe practices. Effective Product Management in close partnership with our Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and Cross Platform Delivery (CPD) teams, to support planning and execution across multiple platforms.
  • Creation and maintenance of standardised artefacts in line with Value Co-Creation practices.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve Key performance indicators.
  • You’ll also contribute to our transition from transformation to a sustainable product.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Digital Product Management & Development and delivering on a product roadmap, with experience of Agile or other software development methodologies.
  • You can use data to tell a story, make decisions quickly, and rally others around your vision for the product.
  • You can interpret consumer insights and trends into actual features and functionality.
  • You can quickly learn and adapt to changes while maintaining clear prioritization.
  • You love to get things done. You make things happen instead of quietly wondering why things are as they are. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take responsibility to deliver impactful results.
  • You bring clarity and energy. You manage conflicting viewpoints in diverse teams to deliver the best outcomes.
  • You are great at communicating and bringing diverse people together behind a common goal.
  • An understanding of the AML/KYC/KYB domain is highly desirable.
  • Experience of successfully working with colleagues and partners situated worldwide a plus.
