Job summary

EY in Bristol is seeking an experienced Manager, Corporate Tax to lead and deliver complex tax projects for UK and international clients. You will manage client relationships, supervise a team, and help win new business in a dynamic, globally connected environment.

The role offers hybrid working with two days in the office, a supportive culture, and opportunities to develop broad tax advisory and compliance capabilities across M&A structuring, reorganisations and overseas expansion.

Qualifications

• Experienced corporate tax practitioner with at least 4 years' experience.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent.
• Strong client relationship and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Proactive business development to add value to existing and new clients.
• Manage delivery of technically complex tax compliance and reporting engagements, and related advisory projects.
• Involvement in tax audit engagements.
• Provide exceptional client service.
• Work in conjunction with other tax specialist teams.
• Provide development support to junior team members through supervision, coaching and mentoring.
• Contribute to people initiatives.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Corporate Tax specialist to join our busy Corporate Tax team in Bristol.

Our Corporate Tax specialists within the EY Corporate Tax team work with a wide range of businesses at various stages of the business life cycle, providing tax advisory and compliance services such as M&A structuring, exit planning, group re‑organisations and expansion into overseas territories.

Most importantly, you will be responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients and ensuring you are their day‑to‑day contact for access to the breadth of services available at EY.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join EY’s Corporate Tax team based in Bristol. You will work with existing clients, expand your network and help win new business. The role offers the chance to work on some of the most exciting clients in the market to help support them as they navigate an ever increasingly complex business and tax environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experienced corporate tax practitioner (minimum of 4 years’ experience)
• ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification or equivalent breadth of knowledge
