At adidas, you're not just getting a job; you're stepping into a role where your impact is global and your individuality is celebrated. Champions aren’t only found on the field. Join a brand where ambition, resilience, and teamwork fuel everything that we do.

We seek people who connect deeply with our brand and bring their passion to work every single day.

Location

You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, a vibrant hub featuring 18 showrooms, a dedicated Conference Centre and a staff Wellness Hub. You’ll have access to a state‑of‑the‑art gym equipped with Peloton bikes and every piece of kit you could imagine. Plus, an indoor astroturf pitch, a padel court, chat boxes and inspiring creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across Brand Marketing, Commercial and Business support functions.

What You’ll Do

As a member of the Business Insights function in the North Cluster with direct responsibility for an array of key retailers, you will use effective analysis of data & reports to bring the consumer to life within the adidas business. Alongside this, you will provide both current and future focussed insights and planning to provoke and influence decision‑making within the commercial functions, with the objective of achieving the business’s strategic goals and maximising healthy key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a lead point of contact & expert in the Business Insights function for key accounts of responsibility.
  • Add value to provided reporting through identifying relevant commercial insights, actions, and recommendations.
  • Pursuing excellence & accuracy, continuously look to improve how we deliver data and insights into key business stakeholders.
  • Own the weekly trade and monthly/quarterly review interactions for your area of responsibility, providing clear and meaningful outtakes & actionable insights to key stakeholders, while focusing on presenting with impact, influencing stakeholders and considering flow of communication.
  • Support relevant commercial/brand teams in performing deep‑dive analysis into identified areas of need/focus, proactively providing relevant insights and suggested actions.
  • Own the creation of regular sell‑out forecasting, market share modelling & scenario planning for your relevant accounts – with the ambition that this output is used to influence net sales planning, driving a demand‑led approach and healthy inventory position.
  • In collaboration with the Reporting team, support and drive the continuous development and improvement of reporting and data management – reacting to new tools & business priorities as needed and ensuring SLAs (including timing & accuracy) are met.
  • Support in the roll‑out of new reporting into relevant business stakeholders, including upskilling & feedback.
  • Collaborate closely and actively build relationships with commercial, brand, digital stakeholders on individual accounts, and with peers within the Insights function.
  • Maximise the depth of insight generation, and drive synergies, by leveraging data points across the full spectrum of granularity – including online/offline, internal/external, geographies, categories, genders, product types, price points, colourways etc.
  • Through these insights, provide the business recommendations relating to ideal product assortments, depths of buys, breadth of ranges, replenishment opportunities and other key insights to help accelerate the adidas business.
  • Creation and ownership of additional reporting tools which sit outside of the standard reporting framework provided by our Reporting team (e.g. Market Share, store level, Digital, etc.).
  • Engage directly with external partners (alongside sales counterparts), during key selling & Go‑to‑Market milestones, providing product assortment driven analysis to highlight & communicate future opportunities.
  • Pro‑active & supporting contribution, in a data & insights capacity, to wider total marketplace projects at a category level (Category “World Cups”).
Key Relationships
  • Individual account sales teams & Channel Leads
  • UK Reporting team
  • UK/EU Insights teams
  • Account DPC teams (Digital Partner Commerce)
  • Key back‑office functions (Finance / Supply Chain / Demand Planning / Account operations)

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Strategic thinker, with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen & critical thinking ability.
  • Good communicator, with proven ability to clearly communicate data‑driven insights & analysis.
  • Solution oriented, with a focus on results.
  • Interest and experience in dealing with large data sets & proactively modelling/deriving insights from said data.
  • Advanced Excel skills, and experience in spreadsheet analysis.
  • Experience creating and manipulating dashboard visualisation tools (PowerBI is our current adidas option) preferred; otherwise a keen interest in this field and a desire to learn.
  • Growth mindset, with a track record of active development and desire to continue progressing.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter, with good planning and organisation skills.
  • Comfortable with working in an international environment.
  • Fluent English is necessary.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • University degree is preferred.
