A leading logistics firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Manager for Business Development to drive commercial growth and manage a team of Business Developers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive B2B sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to influence and lead teams. This role involves creating strategies for service adoption and collaborating across functional areas to achieve sales objectives. A BA/BS degree and knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce are required. This is a 10-month Fixed Term Contract.
Amazon Shipping is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and commercial Manager for Business Development, to work with online retailers in the UK, facilitating their usage of Amazon's logistics capabilities to service their own customers' needs. The ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to scale Amazon Shipping by driving commercial growth, and will have familiarity with leading B2B sales generation working with customers. We are reinventing everything from commercial strategy and lead generation to account management, and are looking for a sales manager that can partner and innovate with Operations, Commercial and Customer Programs, and Product Management as we scale our solution nationwide.
This is a 10 months Fixed Term Contract. The successful manager will manage a team of 6-7 Business Developers and be comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a scale-up environment. We expect the person in this position to build the sales strategy with the team and successfully execute upon our ambitious product adoption goals. The ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships across functional areas such as Operations, Finance, and Program Management, and will have a proven track record of enabling teams to meet and exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
