KPMG International Cooperative, Leeds office, seeks a tax professional to lead day-to-day on audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams and clients. You will review disclosures and mentor juniors, while growing the AARTS business nationally.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CTA qualifications, strong UK corporate tax knowledge, and experience in IFRS/UK GAAP. You will build client relationships and contribute to cross‑functional collaboration across KPMG's UK network.

Responsabilidades

• Act as day-to-day contact on audit and tax engagements with audit teams, clients, and national AARTS.
• Review, test, and document technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and advisers.
• Delegate work to junior staff while ensuring quality and timetables.
• Develop and maintain client relationships across a portfolio.
• Build internal relationships with audit teams and other departments.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members.
• Share technical insights with the AARTS team and stay up to date.

• Acting as the day-to-day contact on audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams, the client and AARTS team nationally. Working with the AARTS leadership team to grow the business.
• Reviewing, testing and documenting technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and their independent advisers
• Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships across a portfolio of clients;
• Developing and maintaining internal relationships with the audit teams, and other departments;
• Mentoring and developing of junior members of staff;
• Keep up to date and share technical insights with rest of AARTS team.

  ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified;
• Sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation and preferably awareness of international tax issues
• Sound knowledge of accountancy principles, in particular accounting for tax (including deferred taxation and accounts disclosures).
• Strong understanding of tax accounting concepts under IFRS, UK GAAP (knowledge of US GAAP also desirable).
• Ability to build good relationships with clients
