Post Title: Manager

  • Contract: Full time. See individual contract.
  • Responsible to: The Chair and Trustees of Pippins
  • Responsible for: The day-to-day management of Pippins ensuring the efficient, safe and effective running of the nursery, pre-school and Kidz Star club.
Primary responsibilities
1. Buildings and facilities management
  • To manage the day to day running of the premises.
  • To ensure that the premises and resources are appropriate, safe, secure, clean and properly maintained.
  • To ensure that the Health and Safety policy of Pippins is up to date, fully implemented and adhered to by all members of staff and visitors.
  • To be the point of liaison between Pippins and the Landlord.
  • To be the point of contact with the Head teacher of Landscore Primary School.
  • To carry out regular, appropriate risk assessments, identifying needs and ensuring that issues are addressed promptly.
  • To take overall responsibility for the day-to-day health and safety of children, staff and visitors.
2. Finance
  • Working with administrative staff and the Treasurer, ensure that the financial management of Pippins is efficient, effective and accurate.
