Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland seeks a Management Consultant – Life & Pensions in Bath with hybrid working (Bath, Bristol). You will help scope and shape large transformational engagements for Life, Pensions and Retail Investment clients, applying industry expertise and the latest technologies including Gen AI.

Collaborate across Strategy & Consulting, Technology and Operations to deliver differentiated offerings, build senior stakeholder relationships, and drive tangible change.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Life Insurance, Annuities, Pensions or Retirement Solutions.

Within Accenture, the UK Insurance Strategy & Consulting team focuses on scoping and shaping large transformational engagements for leading providers across the market. We help our Life, Pensions & Investments clients drive innovation through our deep Industry experience, extensive capabilities, proven assets & market insights both in the UK and globally.

With a strong and extensive client portfolio across Life, Wealth, Pensions, and Retail Investment clients we support the full breadth of business change from defining market participation strategies and designing retail advice and distribution models, through to shaping and delivering digital customer journeys. Our work involves complex platform and technology transformations, including large‑scale re‑platforming programmes, optimising operating models and sourcing arrangements, and supporting clients through major M&A activity - covering deal strategy and diligence, as well as post‑deal target operating model design and integration delivery.

• Invent & provide solutions to real world problems across our Life, Pensions, and Retail Investment clients, leveraging the latest technologies such as Gen AI
  
• Build deep client relationships and bring together the wider Accenture capability – including Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Song, Operations – to create differentiated offerings and enable the best solutions to our clients.
  
• Deliver tangible, transformational change for clients and develop points of view and results that lead the market sector.
  

As an Industry Consultant, you will:

• Help define industry solutions & offerings to help solve our client’s challenges, and support client discussions on these offerings
  
• Build your industry expertise and distinctive points of view to build credibility with client stakeholders
  
• Own and deliver interesting and industry relevant projects & outputs, to deliver market-relevant change
  
• Participate in and contribute to diverse teams, pulling from relevant areas of Accenture, to deliver a differentiated perspective and tangible change for our clients
  

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• Application of knowledge in one of Life Insurance/Protection, Annuities, Pensions, and Retirement Solutions for 3+ years.
  
• Proven track record of building and sustaining lasting relationships with senior stakeholders.
  
• Expertise in particular digital technology and application to business use cases, such as product/policy administration, operational efficiency, process improvement.
  
• Market Experience in the Life, Pensions & Retail Investments sector; anywhere from annuities and pensions operations through to life office administration and life insurance/protection.
  
• Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
  
• An appreciation of how technology can contribute to solving clients’ complex business problems; comfort operating at the intersection of business and technology
  
• Ability to be at ease with ambiguity and identify opportunities through innovative thinking
