Job summary

A leading safety consultancy in the UK is looking for a Management Associate Consultant Safety to facilitate organisational change programmes aimed at improving safety performance. This role involves evaluating organisational issues, conducting workshops, and providing coaching to leaders. Management Associate Consultant Safety

Location: Remotely based National and international travel is required, approximately 80%

Salary: £60 £120 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including market location position-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and placement in a specific consulting level based on experience and work history.

Contract: Associate Contractor / Self Employed basis

We are now recruiting for an Organisational Change Consultant to facilitate organisational change programmes in order to achieve safety performance improvement at client sites!

You will be working with us as a Contractor.

Additionally, as our Organisational Change Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating organisational issues, advising client organisation leadership, and implementing safety culture change initiatives.
  • Conducting workshops and presentations for groups large and small, across all levels of an organisation
  • Providing coaching to senior and mid-level leaders in client organizations
  • Supporting Assessments by conducting in-field observations, interviews, focus groups while supporting report out s
  • Implementing systems and processes developed by Organisational Safety
  • Conducting analysis of client injury and accident data to report on Serious Injury and Fatality potentials and actuals
  • Managing client projects to achieve high level of client excellence; developing work plans; delivering work on-time and within budget constraints; and coordinating work with other consultants
  • Identifying new business opportunities within client organisations and work to support new business generation
  • Potentially contributing to thought leadership by developing new materials and participating in problem-solving teams
  • Piloting new products in support of product and service development

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Minimum 10-years experience working in industry or government
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Understanding of cross-cultural differences
  • Background in Industrial Safety or Hygiene preferred
  • Ability to identify problems, apply critical thinking, and research potential solutions
  • High degree of professionalism and skill in verbal and written communications
  • Ability to develop strong and genuine client relationships; high personal credibility with all organisational levels
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player
  • Strong experience with organisational initiatives in safety, quality methods or other organisational change process
  • Experience with operations in petroleum, manufacturing, utilities, and/or transportation industries
  • Excellent training and presentation skills
  • Experience managing large, complex programs
  • Speaking a second language would be advantageous
  • A limited company with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance aligned with DEKRA's minimum requirements or onboard through an umbrella company.
