Job summary

LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is a UK-based partnership, wholly owned by the private banking group LGT, with a London head office and a presence in Edinburgh, Jersey, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol. We seek an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to lead UK financial reporting, month-end close, and audits in a fast-paced environment.

Based in the UK, you will manage intercompany reconciliations, assist with statutory accounts and regulatory filings, and mentor junior staff, utilising advanced Excel

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Recently qualified or 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Experience with accounting software is preferred.
• Audit background or involvement is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for UK entities, including cross-entity support.
• Prepare month-end information for reporting across entities.
• Analyze financials with commentary and insights.
• Support junior staff with invoices, staff expenses and reconciliations.
• Process monthly journals – accruals, prepayments and salaries.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and Fixed Asset register.
• Intercompany reconciliations with UK Group and broader LGT group.
• Act as UK audit contact and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist in preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Regulatory reporting and tax filings.
