Job Description:

Management Accountant

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions. These include HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to the lasting impact we make, helping keep the nation's critical digital infrastructures connected and protected.

This role involves working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to develop financial forecasts, deliver accurate reporting, and provide analysis to support decision-making. It is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide clear analysis for effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing forecasts, measure & report on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results and KPIs.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Ensure area reviews for projects, working with operations to report contracts accurately and scrutinize financial results.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems.
