Job description
Role Overview

We are looking for a Management Accountant with experience working within a franchised environment on a Fixed Term contract for 18 months. The Management Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of Retail and Restaurant revenue and cost of goods, including franchisee invoicing, recharges, bank postings, reconciliations, cashflow data, P&Ls, royalty income, commissions, and delivery partner revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Posting revenue for retail and all franchisees.
  • Posting royalty income.
  • Posting and reconciling all delivery partner revenue.
  • Posting retail commissions in accordance with the contract.
  • Reviewing and accruing all cost of goods sold for retail.
  • Franchisee invoicing (deposit invoices and monthly revenue invoices), posting all recharges and ensuring payments are made in accordance with the contracts.
  • Bank postings and reconciliations.
  • Assisting with preparing cashflow data.
  • Reconciliation of aged accounts receivable.
  • Assisting in the preparation of retail P&Ls at month end, including raising necessary accruals and prepayments.
  • Site‑by‑site reviews of P&Ls explaining any large variances to budget.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and uploading them to ADRA for monthly review.
  • Responding to finance queries received from the business and franchisees.
  • Assisting with audit queries.
  • Other ad‑hoc duties as required.
