Job summary

An expanding financial services company in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Management Accountant to deliver core management accounting duties. The successful candidate will assist in producing monthly management accounts, forecasts, and financial reconciliations. Requirements include strong experience in this field, part or qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, and excellent knowledge of Excel. This role involves working in a team to provide accurate financial information while adhering to strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience performing similar duties.
• Understanding of current UK HMRC financial regulations.
• Able to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts.
• Assist in preparing periodic forecasts and annual budgets.
• Produce weekly sales profit and cashflow forecasts.
• Ensure all reconciliations are carried out monthly and internal controls are maintained.
• Assist in preparing margin analysis on an ongoing basis.

Skills

Experience as a Management Accountant

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

Confident communication skills

Education

Part or Qualified – CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, or Qualified by Experience
